frequently asked questions

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government program that funds supports and services for people with permanent and significant disabilities. It’s designed to help you live more independently, build skills, and take part in your community.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are an Australian citizen or hold a Permanent or Special Category visa
  • Are between the ages of 7 and 65
  • Have a permanent and significant disability that affects your everyday life

You can:

  • Call the NDIS on 1800 800 110
  • Reach out to a local partner in the community (e.g. Social Futures or Mission Australia in Orange, NSW)
  • Speak with your GP, support coordinator, or another trusted professional for help with the paperwork

Breona can also help guide you through the process.

The NDIS is designed to give you more say in your supports. This means you decide:

  • What supports you need
  • Who provides them
  • How and when they’re delivered

You’re in the driver’s seat of your plan.

Breona are approved to deliver services under the following NDIS Registration Groups

  • 0107 – Assist Personal Activities
  • 0115 – Daily Tasks/Shared Living
  • 0117 – Development – Life Skills
  • 0125 – Participate Community
